Certified Wireless Network Integrator (CWNI™)
 Certified Wireless Network Integrator (CWNI™) status is an advanced qualification that follows from Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA™) status. Administrators and engineers who achieve Certified Wireless Network Integrator status demonstrate that they have the advanced skills necessary to install, configure, administrate and troubleshoot wireless network systems. Some of the skills that will be tested to advanced levels beyond the CWNA exam are switching, routing, wireless LAN and network design, packet analysis (sniffing), and wireless LAN deployment. One of the main focuses of CWNI is for the test candidate to be skilled in wired/wireless network integration. A solid understanding of wireless and wired networks is essential to achieve CWNI status.

 The CWNI exam consists of 60 multiple choice questions delivered randomly, that cover Advanced wireless LAN Security, Advanced wireless LAN Concepts, and Advanced Networking Concepts. The scope of an individual's understanding of wireless LAN networking will be evident if they achieve a passing score on the exam due to the diversity and complexity of the exam. The exam covers a broad range of topics and becomes very detailed in many areas.

Preparing for CWNI
 Studying for the CWNI exam typically takes several weeks. White papers, recent wireless LAN web-based periodicals, manufacturer websites, good wireless LAN books can form part of your study material for the CWNI exam. However, the best preparation for the CWNI exam is through hands-on practical training and experience integrating wireless and wired networks.
